I usually don’t go for soaring alt-rock of the poppier variety, but UK four-piece Sundara Karma have hit a sweet intersection with their latest offering. A cross between The War On Drugs and Frightened Rabbit, “Olympia” grabs you straight from the outset.

“Oh no. Olympia says she loves me. Olympia says she needs me,” sings Oscar Pollock (vocals/guitar) setting the stage and rocketing towards an anthemic chorus in short order. With “Olympia,” Sundara Karma has crafted an amber-hued piece of rock romanticism on par with the festival ready set they’re angling to join next summer.

Stream the latest from Sundara Karma below and catch them out on tour in November.
