On Friday, Monroe, NJ’s own Rock N’ Roll collective Tango Machina, or Tango Mahina depending upon which Spanglish speaking sound man works your set on a given evening, performed a late night set at The Saint on Friday drawing applause for its riff-driven compositions (“Miles,” “The Combination Is Explosive,” “Let Out The Demons”) and laughs for its between tune banter which covered various topics including bassist Damion Destefano’s possible broken arm, the early show’s headliner Charlotte Sometimes and her participation on NBC’s The Voice, and the band’s forthcoming, and long withheld, self-tieled debut EP, which should be out this Summer.
