The Porchistas Drops Its First Single, “Friends In The Underground,” From Forthcoming LP

Montaclair’s own The Porchistas is on the brink of releasing its second LP in two years, and third collection in three years, The Baby Album, which is slated to drop this Saturday (June 2nd) at a special release party hosted by Tierney’s Tavern featuring the Jersey City-based One And Nines and Jackson, NJ’s talented four-man string band Thomas Wesley Stern…and this morning the self-described “lyrically-driven Hippie-Punk” collective gave the music community a sneak peak at what’s to come in the form of “Friends In The Underground,” a brass accompanied, swing dance-inducing composition.
