The Vaccines

UK born rebel rousers The Vaccines are huge in their home country, but enter into their latest album cycle looking to break out in the States. With that, the band announces “English Graffiti”, their first record recorded in the US.

Working with Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, Sleater-Kinney) and Cole MGN (Ariel Pink, Beck), The Vaccines return with 11 inspired new tracks. The songs advance their english indie-rock sound without losing the edge that was evident in their 2013 late night slot at Bonnaroo, their mid-afternoon set at Lollapalooza, and in previous singles like my personal favorite, “Post-Break Up Sex”.

“English Graffiti” is led by single “Handsome” which I encourage you to stream below. Look for the album out May 26th via Columbia and catch The Vaccines at Seaside Heights in June as a part of Mumford & Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road series of mini-festivals.
