Jackson, NJ’s Folk collective Thomas Wesley Stern (the band, not the man) has unveiled more information about its forthcoming follow up to 2012’s American Pain, which landed on SIMGE’s Top 50 Albums of 2012 list…most notably that the recording process is complete.
The four-man string band took to Facebook on Saturday to announce that their upcoming collection, which was recorded in a Nashville-based studio, is mastered, ready to be pressed, and will be made available for mass consumption on June 21st with summer solstice record release party at The Strand Theatre in Lakewood, NJ.
More details are to come, but in the meantime be sure to check out the group’s full statement below, and check out some of those new tunes on May 23rd when Thomas Wesley Stern takes to The Saint as part of the SIMGE presented Paper Streets record release showcase featuring The Everymen, Dentist (members of No Wine For Kittens), and Mad Feather Group. Find more information on the event here and RSVP to it here.
“Proud to announce our new record is mastered and ready to be pressed into CD form. We couldn’t have done this without the support of our friends and family, everyone who listens to our music. The CD will be sent to donors soon and we release it June 21st at the Historic Strand Theater in Lakewood, NJ.
Thanks, every one.”
