Those Mockingbirds

Although the debate over which Beatle did best for himself in the solo realm, there’s no arguing that Paul McCartney was certainly the most prolific of the legendary quartet. One of his finest rock tracks, “Jet”, has inspired thousands of covers of the years including one just released by NJ’s Those Mockingbirds.

Slightly off course from their usual sound, Those Mockingbirds strike an up-tempo chord with a stirring rendition joined by The Scandals and one of the Gaslight Anthem side projects, Something About Death or Dying. The cover is part of a compilation by Treehouse studios here in NJ where all proceeds go to the Keep A Breast foundation.
