With a laid-back ease and sensibility, New Zealand singer Wallace brings her signature soulful voice to her newest single “Pantone Home.”
Although now based in Sydney, “Pantone Home” is the story of the artist’s childhood home. Wallace takes listeners through the house she grew up in with her parents, using the myriad of colors within the house as a guide.
“My folks home is literally a rainbow and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” said Wallace. “Everything in the song is 100% true. Our lounge is in fact painted the most bad ass mustardy/ limey yellow, we watch the telly a bright red art deco lounge suite, and eat dinner on Crown Lynn plates in every pastel shade.”
The song is her second single of 2018, following the release of “Frame by Frame.” New Zealand fans can find Wallace on tour through the end of October.
