Watch: Asbury’s GODS (mems of Parlor Mob) Rock Indian Summer Fest…Playing Yacht Club Oct. 3

GODSRainy surroundings couldn’t douse the seaside flame of Asbury Park’s Indian Summer Festival this past weekend, as the North Beach was pummeled with various rock experimentations from some of the scene’s most prominent players, including a set by local luminaries GODS, a ferocious psych-rock concoction that includes The Parlor Mob members Paul Ritchie and Sam Bey, as well one of the area’s most masterful bassists in Nick Vilapiano (ex Parlor Mob, Atlantic, Atlantic), and accomplished songsmith and band leader Scott Liss (Scott Liss & The 66).

Thankfully a portion of GODS’ weekend set was captured by a solid dude named Charlie Cirillo (who I have not met, but I’m sure we’ll cross paths in time) and you can check out the eight-plus minute jam below.

And if you missed the band’s Indian Summer set, you’re in luck, because GODS will hit the Asbury Park Yacht Club on Oct. 3rd for a free show with Brooklyn, NY outfit Savants. Don’t miss it.
