Pizza, punk rock, and parties. Why not take all three and throw them into a 2-minute music video? Basketball Shorts does just that, in their new video for “Hot and Ready.”
Basketball Shorts are charming in that they don’t take themselves too seriously – they’ve been busy writing fun, energetic pop punk tunes to rock you steady at your next summer BBQ. The band’s song is quick-paced but full of melody.
The video itself is fun-loving and obviously obsessive about pizza. The band plays with smiles on their faces and that only makes this video more enjoyable. A man is covered almost ceremoniously in sauce and cheese with pepperoni on his eyes as various couples show affection for one another by making out and eating pizza.
