The wonders of our tightly knit New Jersey music and arts community lies in the creative currant which binds various artists and produces the most intriguing collaborative efforts. The latest side project to surface is one titled Hell Sells, which features the renowned DJ Cat King as well as Brent Bergholm, Ron Santee, and alex Rosen of the Asbury Park Hard-Rock outfit The Battery Electric, and Red Bank creative Katie Schweitzer.
Without a piece of officially released music to their name, Hell Sells unveiled the collective’s debut single and music video all in one shot this past weekend in the form of “Brooklyn Way”, a muted composition and instrumental simplicity at its finest with King delivering a refrain of “I’ve got ideas and I give them away. Spread them, it’s the Brooklyn way.”
