Hit Like A Girl

Formerly operating under the acoustic-focused moniker For Those Who Cannot See, Montclair-based artist Nicolle Maroulis recently released their debut release as Hit Like A Girl. The 8-track You Make Sense serves as an extremely promising initial statement from the artist who wrote and played everything on the record aside from Levi Miller’s percussion.

You Make Sense was led by the single “It’s Always You” which finds Maroulis yearning and wrestling with whether or not to go all in on a love interest over a Waxahatchee-style soundscape.

“I’ve spent most of my days trying to help and support other artists and musicians’ succeed in their musical careers, that I’ve almost completely lost the courage to work on my own music,” shares Maroulis. “I’m extremely grateful to be able to share this experience with you all. When I got to shoot this video, it was a very positive experience for me. I feel like now it’s my turn.”
