Hailing from Liverpool, rockers Hooton Tennis Club embrace a warm, Britpop-esque approach to their stylings. The material teased so far off of their forthcoming sophomore effort, Big Box Of Chocolates, has shown a real step up in sonic weight class, delivering a more fully realized, matured sound building off of their debut.

“Katy-Anne Bellis” is just one of those pre-release tracks and is a spritely, jangly, nostalgic ode to fun times that were never meant to be permanent.

The band shares:

“We decided to throw a soiree in the living room of the enchanted ‘Garlic Mansion’ for our song inspired by the wonderful Katy-Anne! The house she used to live in – a house of plenty – never a dull moment! People come and people go, and in this house all are celebrated. ┬íViva la garlic mansion!”
