Watch: New Brunswick’s ROMP Drops “Burrito” Video…Bad Timing Records Re-releasing Debut EP

FACT of the day: ROMP is tight…this statement continues to go undisputed.

The collection of New Brunswick basement dwellers has also developed into one of my favorite bands over the past year, and aside from ROMP’s catalogue of raucous, fist-tossing punk anthems infused with infectious pop grooves in the vein of Cayetana and Full of Fancy…I haven’t been able to put my finger on it.

However, the outfit’s new video for its latest single “Burrito” confirmed why my adoration grows so large…and it can be summed up into three observations: We love the same band, as frontwoman Madison Klarer rocks a Screaming Females t-shirt…we love the same baseball team (those Mets flags in the background are a great touch)…and finally, we seem to share a similar affection fro burritos. I mean, ROMP wrote a song called “Burrito” and featured one of these bean and cheese filled delights in the accompanying video.

Thus, my love affair is now crystalline. So scope the latest video from ROMP and stream their debut EP Sorry, Not Sorry below, and stay tuned for more as Bad Timing Records prepares to re-release that debut collection in the near future with “Burrito” included.
