2015 has seen some hard rocking bands rise to international prominence, most namely Royal Blood. Looking out onto the horizon, there are many eyeing that same sort of success with the aforementioned duo’s former stage mates, Northern Faces, primed for a legitimate run.
Based out of New York’s Capital District and signed to Equal Vision Records, the band dropped their debut LP earlier this year with a tour supporting The Dear Hunter, their own headlining tour and prime slots at Riot Fest. They have also shared stage soil with the likes of The 1975, Cage The Elephant, Kongos, Say Anything, RX Bandits, Electric Guest, Civil Twilight and Heartless Bastards.
Recently, Northern Faces premiered their dramatic performance shot video for “Cops Come.” The anthemic cut is a perfect entry point into the group’s sound, not unlike if The War On Drugs were more interested in crafting poppier, post-punk inspired alt-rock.
Watch Northern Faces in “Cops Come” below and catch them at Asbury Lanes tonight with Brave Baby, Roy Orbitron and Only Living Boy.
