the Big Drops

Hailing from the mysterious (to this central New Jersey raised kid) land of Demarest, NJ, the psych/all-around-good-vibes producing group the Big Drops are currently in the midst of a prolific 2016. The promising quartet of Greg Kherlopian (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Vramshabouh (lead guitar, backing vocals), Steven Donahue (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Caleb Estey (drums, backing vocals) recently dropped a great new EP, Bloom, with a full length, Time, Color, due later this year.

The EP’s middle cut, “Buttercup,” just received the music video treatment wherein the Big Drops get wonderfully weird out in the wild as the track continues to build towards its flurried crescendo. Sgt. Pepper would be proud.

Watch the Big Drops in “Buttercup” and be sure to catch them out on the road in NJ at any of the shows listed below.
