Wreaths, Seaside Caves, Birthwater + More To Play “Pudstock”, A Benefit For Our Asbury Brethren

Chris Rotolo July 3, 2013 Asbury Music, News No Comments

SCSome of Asbury’s best experimental Indie-Rockers are coming together at the Langosta Lounge on July 26th for “Pudstock”, a musical medical fundraiser to benefit Christopher “Puddin” Aylward, a member of the embedded Asbury Park skateboarding community, owner of Wood Shop Skateboards (531 Bangs Avenue), and leader of the local initiative to build a DIY skate park on the West Side of town.

Aylward, who’s recently been smothered by medical costs, has an army of Boardwalk favorites gathering under one roof to help raise funds for his cause such as Wreaths, Seaside CavesBirthwater, and The Ribeye Brothers, as well as The Long Defeats, Wands and Lord Sterling.

Doors for the event open at 8 p.m. with music expected to start at 10 p.m and a minimum donation of $10 to be paid upon entrance.

All donations, including those drawn from the various auctions being held for prizes donated by local businesses and denizens, like tattoo deals and personal training sessions for example, will go toward mounting medical debts accrued by Aylward.

Please don’t miss “Pudstock” and the chance to help out one of our own.
