Yeah Yeah Yeahs Announce & Detail New Album, Mosquito

After unveiling a slew of new songs (video below) this past weekend at an intimate gig in Pamona, CA, Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced their first new album, Mosquito, since 2009’s It’s Blitz! .

Featuring grotesquely intriguing cover art by lauded filmmaker and animator Beomsik Shimbe Shim, the majority of Mosquito was produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, who also took the reigns on It’s Blitz!. LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy lends his producer’s ear to a track as well. Mosquito will hit the airwaves April 16th via Interscope Records.
