Yellow Red Sparks

Last night marked the first evening of the 2013 Spring/Summer season where it was warm enough to walk around Asbury Park in short sleeves. It’s entirely possible that this changeover from Winter was expedited by the arrival of LA trio Yellow Red Sparks who treated The Saint to a set crackling with sunshine melodies and impeccable songwriting. Touring behind their self titled debut LP, the band presented a road tested performance winning over the affluent Asbury crowd and co-mingling outside until the early hours before departing to Queens.

Rounding out the full night of music were local talents such as the genre hopping The Clydes, Canvas Radio, and The Dundees. Speak Into My Good Eye was on hand to capture all the action with a collection of live imagery available for your perusal, along with a stream of Yellow Red Sparks, below.
