Comprised of Luke Spicknall (Guitar, vocals), Naomi Davidoff (Guitar, vocals), Flynn DiGuardia (Drums) and Kaitlyn Baker (Bass), Baltimore-based rockers Spooled Up are primed to break out of the Charm City. Their new EP, Strange World, is led by single “Landmine” which flips on a dime from churning fuzz-rock to a ripping, incendiary break down as they Spooled Up blow up to delightful effect.

“This song is about social anxiety, learning how to trust in relationships, and recognizing (and trying to beat) when you create problems in your head. It’s about feeling worn out and working to not let your mind over-run what’s actually going on reality.”

Listen to Spooled Up’s “Landmine” below and pre-order the Strange World EP out June 8th via Crafted Sounds.
